Happy Chinese New Year, to you!
Release the dragon!
both my brother and i loved your dragon minimation! =)
Happy New Year Trish! I remember in Gr.1 in HK our ‘class president’ drew a dragon the width of the classroom in pastel, i thought it was pretty cool.. 24 years ago, insane!
thank you, everyone! a healthy and happy year to you all! :D
Great project, do you have a tutorial/directions and template for this? I would love to make this with my 3 kids classes, for Chinese New Year.
hi jennifer, i’m just going to paste here what i wrote in the email in case others are interested: Unfortunately there is no actual tutorial for it and I no longer have the template :( I found a dragon colouring page on Google Image, I traced it, then redrew some of it so it can be divided into 4 separate parts (head/neck, 2 body chunks, and tail). I then photocopied the dragon parts onto card stock. I asked the kids to cut out each part and colour/decorate it, then link each part together with fasteners. Finally, we hot glued disposable chopsticks behind the head and tail.
awesomeness!! Happy year of the Dragon!
